Operational specification

For the time dependent functions in circuits of operated railway interlocking system are used the time relays, especially the old types TM 10, TU 60, thermal relay TMŠ 2, MTR2, NTRS etc…

Company BETAMONT s.r.o. produces a replacement for the mentioned relays with their products named “Block of time relays” (hereinafter BČR). In those BČR are used the modern industrial time relays from practical reasons supplemented with electronic circuits for the required applications into railway interlocking systems. These products are designed for a wide range of power supply voltages, their mechanical version allows a quick installation, or exchange.

The range of offered products is as follows:

  • BČR1U — one-channel timing as a direct replacement for relay TM 10 and TU 60 first of all in annulation circuits of PZS (level crossing installation) type AŽD71.
  • BČR3U — three-channel timing for measurement of pre-warning time at PZS, as a replacement solution for thermal relays TMŠZ for PZS AŽD 71, NTR5 for PZS ZSSR.

Application with BČR1U allows to create universal different timely dependent functions, including oscillating regimes in time interval from 50ms up to 100 hours.

BČR1U

Product is designed for realization of time dependent actions especially for one-channel measuring of annu-lation time at level crossing installations (hereinafter PZS). BČR1U can be used for power supply voltage 16-42 V DC as a substitute for various type of time relays. Its circuitry allows a direct substitution for engine time relays TM10 and TU60, quite simple is also a replacement of older thermal time relays. BČR1U contains a multi-function industrial time relay which allows time measurement, generation of impulses and oscillation.

BČR3U

Product is designed for realization of time dependent actions, especially for measurement of pre-warning time at the level crossing installations. Product BČR3U came into being by innovation of older type BČR3. The main difference between the version BČR3 from 2003 and the innovated version rests in change of connection the terminal board from 5- to 7-pin one, whereby the elements for delayed relay fall PT are already on printed circuit that creates a mounting board of BČR3U, supplemented are the circuits for optical indication of individual time relays operation. The only adjustable parts by the user are the time relay, other parts of BČR3U do not contain any adjustable elements. As for the relay contacts of the time relays the manufacturer declares 200,000 switches at the maximal switching capacity. In operation of BČR3U the switching capacity of contacts is considerably lower, after applying effective interference suppression circuits a higher life cycle of time relay contacts can be expected, too. The life cycle of other parts of BČR3U is more than 20 years. The construction components creating BČR3U do not require any special maintenance.
